Step outside the tourist part of Medellin and get to see another perspective.
In this opportunity we will take a 20 minute drive into San Javier, also known as Comuna 13. Here you’ll have the chance to visit what was once the most dangerous neighborhood in Colombia and witness how through the transformation of the past 15 to 20 years it has actually become a haven for graffiti and hip hop artists.
We will Jump on the metrocable which has integrated this part of Medellin back with the community, take safe ride up in the mountains, explain how and why at one time it was the most dangerous neighborhood in South America.
Afterwards we will be able to share hand on hand the innovation of the neighborhood by getting deep into it and socializing with the locals as well as taking a spectacular ride on the electric escalators that are right in the middle of the neighborhood.
You’ll get to notice the innovations that have accompanied this partof the city.
A great place to see the city and its surroundings from high view point.
